I've procrastinated enough looking at Facebook, so I'll get back into my Xanga-ness. One week from now I will be most happy. I will be sleeping as much as I want and not having to worry about finals or work (as much as I have fun at my job.) Yes, that's right. Spring Break. I'm pretty excited about next quarter. I'm taking a sailing class which means I get a grade for being on the water for two hours once a week. I'm also taking ballroom dancing which I'm hoping will rule. It'll be cool to learn some "real" dancing, although I like the whole bump/n/grind thing. I'm also anticipating some more in depth upper division psych classes--cognitive and perception--to get a better idea of what my major is all about. I also want to tackle more comparative literature, Mrs. Lester would be proud. Yeah. I'm going to go back to writing my paper now. But first, I will muse....

It is up to you, whether time will grant or eat away:
    evolutions of the mind,
    battles of the spirit,
    discoveries of the heart.

I think an unfortunate but true fact is that most landlords are assholes. Why? Well, they have to deal with complaints about things falling apart and whatnot, but do they really have to raise rent by $1000?!!! Our landlord is claiming that he's going to put in a jacuzzi, however the hell you spell it, where our bike-rack/parking space is. This thing will be broken into and destroyed in Isla Vista, it's just that kind of place. Needless to say, our landlord is full of shit and is just raising the rent to get rid of us to find people who don't know any better and will pay way too much to live here. I'm less frustrated and angry now since the househunting is done and we have a new place for next year. This new place isn't as spacious but we'll make it our own cozy place. Waaaaah. Alright, it's done, I'm over it, like totally, for sure. (This is where I flip my hair and giggle.) Anyway, I can't complain about much else over here. The flu sucks, we all know that. My apartment is infested with sickies. Yay us! And you're next!

Until next time.....
